It is day one of Carrie’s Voice and I can’t wait to get started!
I will be concentrating on promoting my Voiceover work both in English and in Scottish Gaelic. I’m based in the Scottish Highlands and I am very lucky to have a very clear accent that is easily understood across the world. This has helped me to gain lots of overseas voiceover work.
I’m also going to be starting up Gaelic Classes in the Highlands and this will mainly be taught via Ulpan classes.
I used to do a lot of Gaelic singing and I really missed that when I moved to England but now that I am back in the Highlands I’m going to get started again with the singing. I have joined the Feis Rois team of tutors and I will be helping them to deliver their Youth Music Initiative in the schools.
I’m also going to be working as a parental advisor for Comann nam Pàrant and I’ll be available in my area to provide information and advice to any parents that are considering Gaelic Medium Education for their child.

Ohh dear when I see it all written down, I can see that I’m going to be busy – best get on with it then! 😉
